Legality, Compliance, and Use
What is Beacon Research Solutions?
Beacon Research Solutions is a research peptide supplier focused on making high-quality peptide sourcing more accessible without compromising standards. We connect researchers with rigorously tested, research-grade peptides and take responsibility for sourcing and quality control, removing unnecessary complexity and cost along the way.
Our approach is simple: dependable materials, transparent processes, and pricing that supports serious research at every scale. No hype, no shortcuts, just peptides researchers can trust.
What makes Beacon different from other peptide suppliers?
Beacon is built around discipline instead of marketing. We focus on doing fewer things well, staying inside clear research boundaries, and backing every product with documentation that matches the exact material shipped.
That approach allows us to keep standards high, pricing accessible, and trust intact without cutting corners or leaning on inflated claims.
What States is Beacon Available In?
Beacon Research Solutions ships to all U.S. states where research peptides can be legally sold and used for legitimate laboratory research.
Are peptides legal to buy in the U.S.?
Yes, research peptides are legal to purchase in the United States when sold and used for legitimate laboratory research purposes. Peptides designated as research use only can be legally bought and sold by qualified purchasers, provided they are not marketed or used for human or animal consumption, medical treatment, or any other prohibited application. Buyers are responsible for ensuring their purchase and use complies with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Do I need a prescription?
No. You do not need a prescription to purchase research-grade peptides in the U.S., as long as they are being bought and used for lawful laboratory research purposes.
Are these for human use or research only?
All products sold by Beacon Research Solutions are intended strictly for laboratory research use only. They are not approved or permitted for human or animal use, including any medical, therapeutic, diagnostic, or consumptive application.
Quality, Purity, and Testing (COA)
What’s the purity? What does the COA include?
Our peptides are tested to 99%+ purity unless otherwise stated on the product page. Purity isn’t a marketing buzzword for us. It’s a measurable standard verified through independent testing. Each product includes a Certificate of Analysis (COA) that documents key quality and identity data, typically including peptide identity confirmation, purity analysis, and batch-specific testing information. COAs are provided so researchers can review and verify what they’re working with before use.
Do you test potency and identity, or just purity?
We test all three: purity, identity, and potency. Purity tells you how clean the sample is. It measures how much of the material is the target peptide versus impurities. Identity confirms that the peptide is exactly what the label says it is. This is done by matching the sample’s chromatographic behavior and UV spectrum to a verified reference standard, ensuring it’s the correct molecule and not a look-alike
Potency verifies the amount present matches what’s claimed. It confirms the peptide content aligns with the labeled quantity, not just that something “looks right” on paper.
Many suppliers stop at purity alone. We don’t. Serious research depends on knowing what it is, how clean it is, and how much is actually there.
Which lab runs your tests?
Our testing is performed by independent third-party analytical laboratories, including TrustPointe Analytics, using validated methods for peptide analysis. This ensures results are objective, batch-specific, and verifiable rather than internal or self-reported.
Do you test every batch or just initial validation?
Every batch. Every lot. No exceptions.
Each production batch we sell is independently tested and issued its own batch-specific COA. We do not reuse COAs, recycle old reports, or apply a single test result across multiple lots.
That matters because peptides are only as reliable as the batch they came from. Reusing a COA from an earlier run tells you nothing about the material in your hands. Unfortunately, that shortcut is common in this industry. We don’t play that game. If it ships from Beacon, it was tested for that exact batch. That’s part of how we stay trustworthy, not just competitive.
Reconstitution & Handling
How do I reconstitute? What solvent (BAC water, sterile water)?
Reconstitution means adding a sterile diluent to a lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptide to create a solution for research use.
In most cases, we recommend Bacteriostatic Water (BAC water) because it includes a bacteriostatic agent that helps reduce contamination risk after the vial is punctured, which is especially helpful when the vial may be accessed more than once. Sterile Water contains no preservative and is generally best reserved for situations where the solution will be used promptly.
What concentration should I use?
There isn't a single "best" concentration. It really depends on your specific use case, workflow, and preferences, and different people land on different concentrations for the exact same compound.
In general, most researchers choose a concentration that's easy to work with, easy to dilute, and fits their intended application. IF the vial will be accessed more than once, BAC water is commonly preferred to help reduce contamination risk.
Can you provide dosing guidance?
Beacon Research Solutions does not provide medical advice, dosing protocols, or administration instructions. Our products are intended for research use only, and any clinical decisions, dosing, or patient-specific guidance must come from a licensed healthcare provider. We do provide education and general resources to support informed conversations between providers and their clients.”
We’re happy to help with product documentation, handling basics, and general education. Feel free to reach out with general questions.
Storage, Stability, and Shelf-Life
Do these require cold chain?
We don’t typically require cold-chain shipping. Our products are packaged to remain stable during normal transit conditions, and cold chain is generally unnecessary for shipping.
How long does it last unreconstituted vs. reconstituted?
Unreconstituted (lyophilized) peptides generally last significantly longer than reconstituted solutions because the dry form is more stable. Once reconstituted, shelf life usually shortens and becomes more dependent on the solvent used, storage temperature, and how often the vial is accessed.
Because stability varies by compound and handling conditions, we don’t publish one universal expiration timeline. Always refer to the product’s documentation and storage guidance, and use best practices like sterile technique and minimizing repeated punctures. If you have any questions about storage or handling for a specific compound, reach out to our friendly team. We’re happy to help.

Shipping
Return Policy
Because our products are research materials and may be temperature sensitive, all sales are final once an order has shipped. We do not accept returns or exchanges.
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or with a shipping issue, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the package and items. We will review the claim and, when appropriate, arrange a replacement or store credit.
Orders that are delayed, left unattended after delivery, or stored improperly after arrival are not eligible for replacement or refund.
Shipping
Once payment is received, orders ship within 24 hours of the next business day to U.S. locations where research peptides can be lawfully delivered. All shipments are packaged securely, tracked, and handled with care to protect product integrity.
