IMPORTANT: READ CAREFULLY.
All products sold by Beacon Research Solutions are intended solely for laboratory research use and in vitro testing. By purchasing, possessing, or using any product from Beacon Research Solutions, the Buyer agrees to the terms below.
1) Research Use Only and Prohibited Uses
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing by Beacon Research Solutions, products are not intended, labeled, or approved for:
- Human or animal use, including ingestion, injection, inhalation, topical application, or any bodily introduction
- Medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, or preventative purposes
- Use in food, drugs, dietary supplements, or cosmetics
- Commercial manufacturing, compounding, or formulation into finished goods
- Resale, redistribution, or export (including relabeling/repackaging for sale)
- Any other application not specifically permitted by law
These products have not been evaluated for safety, efficacy, dosing, toxicity, or side effects for medical, nutritional, cosmetic, or consumer applications. Any prohibited use is strictly unauthorized and constitutes a violation of these terms.
2) Buyer Eligibility and Verification
By placing an order, the Buyer represents and warrants that they:
- Are 21 years of age or older
- Are a qualified purchaser, such as a trained researcher, laboratory professional, institution, or business with appropriate expertise and controls
- Have the training and facilities to safely handle research chemicals and biological materials
- Will use the products only for lawful research purposes and in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and best laboratory practices
Right to Request Documentation:
Beacon Research Solutions may request documentation to verify eligibility and intended use (for example: institutional affiliation, business credentials, licensing where applicable, or other reasonable verification). We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order if verification is not provided, is insufficient, or if we suspect misuse or noncompliance.
3) Buyer Responsibilities (Safety, Compliance, and Proper Use)
The Buyer is solely responsible for:
- Understanding and evaluating the hazards, handling requirements, storage conditions, and disposal requirements for each product
- Maintaining appropriate engineering controls, PPE, and industrial hygiene practices
- Ensuring all personnel handling products are properly trained and warned of hazards
- Verifying compatibility and safety when products are used with other chemicals or materials
- Determining suitability for the Buyer’s specific research application
- Complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations (including any requirements related to chemical inventory, labeling, storage, transport, and disposal)
Compliance frameworks may include, but are not limited to, TSCA, OSHA/HazCom, and other applicable rules depending on jurisdiction and intended research use. The Buyer is responsible for confirming what applies to them.
4) No Instructions for Use, Reconstitution, or Application
Beacon Research Solutions does not provide instructions for human use, dosing, administration, or therapeutic protocols. Any product information is provided for general educational context and does not replace professional compliance review.
Where applicable, the Buyer is solely responsible for:
- Conducting adequate research to understand chemical properties, stability, and risks
- Performing any required identity verification and quality checks for the Buyer’s intended research
- Ensuring that any repackaging, relabeling, dilution, or derivatization is lawful and properly controlled
5) No Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beacon Research Solutions disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Any implied warranty of merchantability
- Any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose
- Any warranty arising from course of dealing, usage of trade, or otherwise
Products are provided “as is” and “as available.”
6) Assumption of Risk
The Buyer acknowledges and agrees that research chemicals and related materials may be hazardous and that improper handling, storage, or use may cause property damage, injury, illness, or death.
The Buyer assumes all risks associated with the purchase, handling, storage, transport, use, and disposal of products, including any use in combination with other substances.
7) Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Beacon Research Solutions shall not be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of data, lost profits, loss of business, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Beacon Research Solutions’ total liability for any claim relating to any product or order shall not exceed the amount paid by the Buyer for the specific product(s) giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those jurisdictions, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8) Indemnification and Hold Harmless
The Buyer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Beacon Research Solutions, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, penalties, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to:
- The Buyer’s handling, storage, transport, use, disposal, repackaging, relabeling, transfer, resale, or distribution of products
- Any use outside “Research Use Only”
- Any violation of applicable law or these terms
- Any third-party claims arising from the Buyer’s acts or omissions
9) Right to Refuse, Cancel, or Restrict Sales
Beacon Research Solutions reserves the right to refuse, cancel, restrict, or limit sales and shipments at our sole discretion when necessary to meet internal compliance standards or legal and ethical obligations.
10) Acknowledgment
By proceeding with a purchase or using any product from Beacon Research Solutions, the Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Disclaimer and Waiver of Liability. If the Buyer has questions about legality, compliance obligations, or permitted uses, the Buyer should consult qualified legal and compliance professionals before ordering.
